IB Admit Card 2024 Released Today, IB ACIO Tier 2 Exam on 09 June

The Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India will conduct Tier 2 written examination for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade II)/Executive across the country on 09 June 2024. This examination is being organized to select 995 candidates for these vacancies. IB ACIO Admit Card are released officially. Candidates can download the document from the website now.

The candidates are invited for the written examination if they have submitted a valid online application form. The IB Admit Card for ACIO Grade II will be available online on the recruiter’s website, mha.gov.in.

The board accepted online applications for the IB ACIO posts from 25 November to 15 December 2023. The applicants will be called to appear in the written examination as the board releases the schedule. Aspirants have been informed about any recruitment-related event through an official notice published on the website.

IB ACIO Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination conducted by the board across the country. For the same purpose, the examination authority has made 164 exam centers in various cities in the country.

  • Written Examination – Tier I (100 Marks)
  • Written Examination – Tier II (50 Marks)
  • Interview – Tier III

Written Examination – Tier I

  • This examination will have objective-type questions.
  • Applicants will find 100 questions in the exam.
  • Applicants will get a 01 mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
  • Aspirants will get 01 hours to solve the question paper.

Passing Marks – The candidates of General, OBC, SC/ST, and EWS categories must score at least 35, 34, 33, and 35 in the examination.

Written Examination – Tier II

The examination authority (MHA) will call ten times the number of vacancies for the Tier II examination. This examination phase will be descriptive; candidates must write their answers at full length. This examination will be of 50 marks.  Aspirants must score at least 33% or 17 marks in the Tier II examination to be considered for the interview phase.

  • Essay – 30 Marks
  • English comprehension & Précis Writing – 20 Marks

IB ACIO Grade II Admit Card Details

Candidates should know some details about the IB ACIO Admit Card before visiting the examination center for the written examination of any phase. Applicants should remember that they will be allowed to enter the exam hall only if they produce valid documents in front of the exam center officials.

The aspirants will find some important details mentioned on the hall ticket, and candidates should cross-verify those details with the details they gave at the time of application registration. Applicants will notice a mention of the exam date, exam center name, name of the candidate, address of the exam center, photo and thumb impression of the candidate, etc., on the call letter.

  1. Go to the official website of the MHA at mha.gov.in.
  2. Then, move to the “What’s New” section given on the homepage.
  3. Now click on the IB ACIO Admit Card link.
  4. Then, enter the application username and password.
  5. Submit those details, and the document will appear.
  6. Download it and take a printout of it.
  7. Carry a clear copy of it to the exam hall.
