UP Police Admit Card 2024, New UPP Constable Exam Date Announcement Soon

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is conducting the recruitment exam for the position of Police Constable in Uttar Pradesh. 60,244 vacancies were advertised in the notification. The authority will conduct the written test for these posts in the first phase.

The written exam is scheduled to be organized on 17 and 18 February 2024. The authority will release the UP Police Constable Admit Cards on their official website, i.e. uppbpb.gov.in. Candidates can access the same at least seven days before the exam date.

Candidates are advised to download their admit cards as soon as they become available and to ensure that all the information is correct. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately contact the UPPRPB for rectification.

Selection Process

Written examination– The written examination will be conducted for 300 marks and consist of objective-type questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The questions will be based on General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Reasoning Ability. Candidates must score above a particular cut-off mark to be eligible for the next stage.

Physical Standard Test (PST)-  This stage tests the candidates’ physical attributes. It involves measurements of height, weight, and chest (for male candidates). Candidates not meeting the specified physical criteria are disqualified from further stages.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- It includes activities like running, long jump, high jump, etc. The specific activities and their requirements may vary.

Document Verification- In this stage, documents are verified to confirm the candidate’s eligibility and authenticity. Documents typically verified include educational certificates, domicile certificates, age proof, identity proof, and reservation category certificates (if applicable).

With the tentative examination schedule, candidates preparing for the recruitment must be aware of the key dates and timelines. The written examination is planned for February 18, 2024. UPPRPB Constable Exam Pattern

• The exam will be for 2 hours (120 minutes).
• It will be an objective exam.
• It will consist of four papers: General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability Test, and Mental Aptitude /Intelligence /Reasoning.
• The exam will be of 300 marks in total with 150 questions, and each question will carry +2 marks.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.5 for every wrong answer.
• The exam will be in a bilingual language (English & Hindi).

UP Police Constable Admit Card Details

The admit card is a vital document for the recruitment process. It contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, venue, and other instructions. Candidates must carry their admit card on the day of the examination.

In addition to the UP Police Admit Card print, candidates must carry two passport-size photographs and a photo identity proof. A valid photo identity proof may be an Aadhar Card, PAN card, Driving License, voter’s ID Card, Bank Passbook with attested photo or Passport. Candidates must note that they cannot enter the exam centre without producing a valid admit card printout and ID proof.

2. Go to the direct recruitment section on the homepage.
3. Then, select “आरक्षी नागरिक पुलिस के पदों पर सीधी भर्ती-2023”.
4. It will redirect you to a new page. There, click on the admit card link.
5. Enter the required details, such as registration number, date of birth, and password.
6. Once logged in, the admit card can be viewed and downloaded.
7. Take a printout of the admit card for further use.
