What is SSC CHSL?
SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam was conducted on February 14, 2021. The candidates were asked one essay and one formal letter in the paper. The questions were easy and the SSC provided the name and address of the sender and receiver for the letter. This was done to avoid any UFM issues faced by some of the candidates in the previous years. Earlier, SSC CHSL admit card for tier II exam was released by the North East regional website. Staff Selection Commission-Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) is a national-level level exam conducted by SSC every year.
The exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as LDC, JSA, PA, SA and DEO in various ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India. SSC CHSL recruitment 2020-21 has commenced on November 6, 2020. Candidates could apply online for SSC CHSL 2020 latest by December 26. The SSC CHSL tier-I 2021 exam will be conducted from April 12-27. Meanwhile, SSC CHSL tier-I 2019-20 result has been declared on January 15, 2021. SSC CHSL tier-II 2019 exam will be held on February 14, 2021.

Note: All posts on offer through SSC CHSL exam carry All India Service Liability (AISL). This means that if a candidate is selected for a post, he/ she may be asked to serve anywhere in the country.
With the approval of National Recruitment Agency (NRA) by the Union Cabinet, NRA CET 2021 (NRA Common Eligibility Test 2021) is likely to be conducted by the agency to replace the tier-I paper of SSC CHSL and other exams conducted by Staff Selection Commission, Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) and Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The exact NRA CET exam dates are yet to be announced.

SSC CHSL 2020-21 Exam Update
SSC CHSL application form 2020-21 filling process is over. Candidates could fill the CHSL application form till December 26. Now, the SSC CHSL tier-I 2021 exam will be held from April 12-27. The SSC CHSL 2020-21 notification was released on November 6, 2020.
SSC CHSL 2019-20 Exam Update
SSC CHSL tier-I answer key 2019 has been released by Staff Selection Commission on January 22, 2021. SSC CHSL result 2019 for tier-I was announced on January 15, 2021. Along with the result, the Commission had also released the SSC CHSL cutoff. The provisional SSC CHSL answer key was released on November 5, 2020. The SSC CHSL tier-I exam was conducted from October 12-16, October 19-21 and October 26.
The SSC CHSL 2019 exam for tier-II will be conducted on February 14, 2021.

SSC CHSL Eligibility 2021
The basic criteria that candidates need to meet in order to fulfill SSC CHSL eligibility 2021 are:
- A candidate must be either/or a citizen of India, subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, person of Indian origin
- A candidate must be aged between 18 and 27 years as on January 1, 2021
- A candidate should clear Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board or university
- A candidate appearing for his/her final Class 12 exams are also eligible to apply

SSC CHSL Final Answer Key 2021 for Tier-I
Staff Selection Commission has released the final SSC CHSL answer key 2019 for tier-I on January 22, 2021. Candidates can check the SSC CHSL answer key on the official website of the Commission by using their roll number and password.
SSC CHSL Result 2021 for Tier-I
SSC CHSL result for tier-I 2019 paper has been declared on January 15, 2021. The result has been released in the form of a merit list on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. Total 44,856 candidates have cleared the tier-I exam. Along with the result, the Commission has also released the SSC CHSL cutoff. The SSC CHSL final answer key will be released on January 21, 2021. Candidates can check the final SSC CHSL answer key by logging into their registered accounts latest by February 20, 2021.
SSC CHSL Exam Analysis 2020 for Tier-I
All the shifts of SSC CHSL tier-I 2020 exam conducted on October 15 are over now. Similar to previous days, candidates found SSC CHSL papers held on October 15 easy to moderate. As per most of the students, the Reasoning section was a bit time taking. In GK section, only few current affair questions were asked. English section was easy and Maths was easy to moderate. Good attempts for the exam held on October 15 will be 77-88.
SSC CHSL exam for all shifts conducted on October 14 was easy to moderate. Good attempts for the exam will be 71-82 questions.
Student reaction for SSC CHSL tier-I exam conducted on October 13 was similar as for the paper held on October 12. Majority of the students found the paper easy to moderate. Good attempts for the exam for the exam held on October 13 will be 71-81 questions.
The first shift of the remaining shifts of SSC CHSL tier-I 2020 exam was successfully conducted from 10:00-11:00 AM on October 12. Shiksha reported live from an exam centre in Noida to know the difficulty level of the exam and check COVID-19 related arrangements at the test centre. SSC CHSL Selection Process
SSC CHSL selection process 2020-21 includes the following steps:
Step 1: Apply online for SSC CHSL
Candidates can fill the SSC CHSL application form in two parts – registrations and applications.
- SSC CHSL registrations: For the same, candidates need to visit the official website of SSC (ssc.nic.in) and click on the ‘New User? Register Now’ link. Thereafter, candidates need to fill all details asked in the SSC CHSL registration form. On successful registration, a registration ID and password will be generated. Candidates need to note down the ID and password and retain the details for future reference.
- SSC CHSL applications: Candidates can start filling the SSC CHSL application form by logging into their registered accounts using registration ID and password. Once the form is filled, candidates also need to pay SSC CHSL application fee of Rs 100 in online mode.
Step 2: Download SSC CHSL tier-I admit card
SSC CHSL admit card for tier-I is released few weeks before the exam. Candidates can download their admit card for the exam from the regional websites of the commission.
Step 3: Appear for SSC CHSL tier-I exam
Candidates who successfully apply for the exam first need to appear for the tier-I paper. SSC CHSL tier-I is a computer-based test (CBT) containing 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
Step 4: Check SSC CHSL tier-I result
The SSC CHSL tier-I result is released on the official website of the commission. The result contains the names and roll numbers of all the candidates who qualify the tier-I exam.
Step 5: Download SSC CHSL tier-II admit card
The tier-II admit card is released for candidates who qualify the SSC CHSL tier-I exam. The admit card is released in online mode on the regional websites of the Staff Selection Commission.
Step 6: Appear for SSC CHSL tier-II exam
Candidates qualifying the tier-I paper need to appear for tier-II exam. The SSC CHSL tier-II exam is a descriptive paper conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test.
Step 7: Check SSC CHSL tier-II result
The SSC CHSL tier-II result is declared on the official website of SSC as per the prescribed schedule. The result contains details about the candidates qualifying the tier-II exam to appear for tier-III paper.
Step 8: Appear for SSC CHSL tier-III exam
Candidates clearing the tier-II exam need to take the tier-III paper. SSC CHSL tier-III is basically a skill/typing test conducted as per the post applied by the candidate. The tier-III exam is only qualifying in nature.
Step 9: Appear for SSC CHSL document verification round
All candidates who qualify the tier-III exam finally have to appear for the document verification round. Candidates need to appear for document verification round along with all the educational and other documents (original and photocopies) such as Class 10 and 12 certificate, caste/category certificate, PwD certificate, relevant certificate if seeking age relaxation, two passport-size photos, phpto ID proof, etc.
Candidates whose documents are successfully verified are finally allocated services based on the SSC CHSL vacancies released by the commission and posts applied by the candidates.
