Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and Clerks in various Indian Banks.
There are 27 public sector banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) for which the recruitment process takes place.
IBPS PO Prelims is a qualifying exam. Based on the scores of Mains and Interview, Merit List will be prepared.
COVID-19 Instructions for IBPS PO Exam
IBPS has released a set of instructions that candidates need to follow when they reach the exam centre:
Wearing masks and gloves is mandatory. No candidate shall be allowed inside the exam venue without a mask.
Candidates must have the Arogya Setu App on their mobile phones, the status of which will be checked by the Security Guards. Candidates who do not have a Mobile Phone must bring along a self-attested declaration.
Candidates must carry a transparent water bottle along with them and a bottle of hand sanitizer.
The rough sheets shall be kept on the candidate’s desk and no extra sheets shall be provided during the exam.
Candidates shall have to drop their IBPS PO call letter, photocopy of Identity Proof, and their worksheets in a box after the completion of the examination.
In case of Problems in Downloading the call letter
Internet-based Call letter download depends on various factors like Internet Speed, a large number of Applicants trying to download the Call Letter at the same time, etc. Therefore, if you are not able to download the Call Letter immediately, please retry after a gap of 5 minutes or during off-peak hours during the night.
Please check your entries on the login screen. You should use the Registration number & Password as received at the time of registration by displaying it on the screen and also mailed to you in auto-generated email acknowledgement. Also, make sure that the DATE OF BIRTH you have entered is the same as you entered at the time of registration and printed in the application print.
