Actor Zendaya is set to give voice to Lola Bunny’s character in the upcoming film Space Jam: A New Legacy. The casting of the Emmy-winning actor was confirmed on Saturday via the film’s official Twitter account.

“Welcome to the jam, @Zendaya,” the tweet read.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, the 1996 Michael Jordan-led cult classic Space Jam has a long-awaited sequel with NBA superstar LeBron James, as he is in a digital space called The ServerWars, where he has a son (Jackal Wright). Al-Ji was carried away by a rogue algorithm called Rhythm (Don Cheadle).

With the safe return of Rekha’s son, James teamed with the Looney Tunes, competing in basketball against the Gone Squad of the algorithm.

Team Looney Tunes will feature Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Porky Pig and Roadrunner.

The cast also stars Khris Davis, Sonqua Martin-Green and Cedric Joe.

Several NBA and WNBA players will make cameo appearances in the film, including Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Kell Thompson, Diana Taurasi, and Neneca Ogwumike.
