Yo-Kai Express introduces Takumi, a smart home cooking appliance – TechCrunch

The Yo-Kai Express is known for autonomous restaurant technology for locations such as office complexes, malls and hotels. As people continue to live at home due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the company is offering smart home cooking equipment with many functions. Called Takumi, it includes a coffee maker, high induction cooktop and steamer to clean utensils and baby bottles. Takumi is connected to an app with preprogrammed recipes by RFID, which sends alerts even when its water container is running low.

The company is currently introducing Takumi at CES ‘Taiwan Tech Arena.

If you live in the Bay Area, you may have seen the Yo-Kai Express’s Octo-Chef, a vending machine that serves hot noodle dishes (Ramon, Eudon and Pho) in places like San Francisco International Airport, Metron Mall in San . Francisco and Corporate Complexes. But the company is adopting people to stay indoors. In April, it launched a home meal kit delivery service which is now available in all states.

Made for those who want to eat homemade food, but the time and space are short, the dishes prepared before Takumi’s have a cooking time of just two to eight minutes. The Yo-Kai Express is known for noodle dishes, but Takumi’s menu will also include rice bowls, dim sum, dumplings and pasta.
