Miz is now a two-time WWE Champion.

WWE

Elimination Chamber 2021 closed with a surprise: The Miz cashed his money in a bank contract and won the WWE Championship from Drew McIntire. He did this with the help of Bobby Lashley, who is seen feuding with Drew McIntire after landing the US Championship to enter WrestleMania.

It capped a strong pay-per-view, which opened with a stunning Elimination Chamber match won by Daniel Bryan. In what followed would be the theme of the show, Brian was defeated by Universal champion Roman Rains in the match that followed.

Elsewhere, Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair failed to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championship, and Riddle won the US title by pinning John Morrison.

The Miz Cash In became WWE Champion

Bobby Lashley ambushed Drew McIntire after the Chamber, destroying him outside the ring and then into Hurt Lock. Miz’s music played and he ran into the ring, officially cashing his Money in the Bank contract.

the bell rings. The Miz got two points after DDT, but won after the Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz turned the show off air, celebrating its championship victory.

Yes true.

Drew McIntire retains WWE Championship

On the show’s main event, Drew McIntire retained his WWE Championship by winning an Elimination Chamber match. McIntire last edged out AJ Styles to retain his championship.

The match was made for a match between Shimus and McIntire, with Shimas being the last entrant in the match. Sheamus ended Kofi Kingston with a Brogue kick, and McIntire finished Jeff Hardy with a Claymore kick, so it looked like the two would close the house and the fight. This was not the case, as Sheamus was pinned by AJ Styles after the Phenomenal Fourarm.

Randy Orton was the first to be eliminated, who also came as a surprise. Kofi Kingston entered the Chamber and quickly caught Orton with a creative roll. After his pin, Orton RKO’d before going to Kingston and Hardy. AJ Styles, who had yet to officially enter, took advantage by instructing Omos to break the doors of his chamber. Omos did, and AJ ran through the door of the chamber, running from outside and unsuccessfully tried to pin Kingston and Hardy. Note that this does not make sense at all, since AJ is no legal man until his chamber door is unlocked. Alas.

The bout was good, but far more disappointing than the SmackDown opener. This is especially true during a period in which five men were still active – AJ, McIntire, Shimas, Kingston and Hardy – where action was often underway in several areas. But it was improved after Hardy and Kingston were eliminated, when AJ, Shimus and McIntire put on a strong closing stretch.

Shaina Buszler and Nia Jax retain tag titles

Nia Jax makes a bizarre thanks to Reginald, Carmella’s Sommelier after the Sanji draw with Saina Drop.

Nia Jax starts the fight slow, taking on both Banks and Bianca Beller. Things started picking up once Basler was tagged, and finally we got some solid manners of Basler and Banks’ excellent counter wrestling. This ending occurred as Jackson and Banks were legal women. Reginald came to the ring with fancy champagne and a glass, and rolled the champagne into the ring as he asked Banks to smash it on Jax. Sasha refuses, and is killed by Jackson, Samoan is dropped and then pinned.

Faced with distraction, Banks looked silly and Jackson’s execution was sluggish.

Rating: 2 stars It is highly likely that Banks will face Belair at WrestleMania, so the match was faced with the knowledge that Jacob and Bezler were sure to keep up. It was further accentuated by a poor finish and Jax, which is generally not particularly fun to watch. Shayna Bussler laid out the rules perfectly, and was the highlight of the match.

Riddle won the United States Championship

In the United States Triple Threat match, John Morrison replaced Keith Lee, including Riddle and champion Bobby Lashley. Riddle won the fun bout by pinning Morrison.

It began with Lashley being a demon, easily destroying both Riddle and Morrison. Riddle and Morrison then decided to take the beast to the team. At first it doesn’t even work, but eventually they get the better of Lashley and throw him out and molest something.

Inside the ring, we get to see some of the best wrestling between Riddle and Morrison. Morrison is tragically underlined. Eventually, of course, Lashley returned to the ring. Riddle rocked him with a repatch V-trigger, but Lashley finished the cleaning house. Morrison takes the MVP’s crutches and tries to swing at Lashley, but Lashley escapes and puts Morrison in the hart lock. Riddle took the crutches and pushed Lashley back – announcers quickly told it was no disqualification – leading Lashley to retreat and regroup outside.

Riddle hooked Morrison with his Broderick Graveyard Slam for the win. He immediately fled to Lashley, a true fighting champion.

Rating: 3.5 stars. A fun match with three talented people. It is silly, a weaker babyface than Ladley and a genuinely rude boy to make Riddle look so weak. But it’s nice to see Morrison’s talent on the show.

Roman Rance defeated Daniel Bryan

This Universal Championship match was short but sweet. Brian, stumbling and able to walk, tells the referee to ring the bell. Roman immediately goes for a spear, but he counts as Yes Locke to Brian Locke. Announcer Michael Cole is losing his mind, screaming that Brian is going to pull off a miracle. crazy moments.

However, this was not to be, as Riggs powered in and restrained Bryan with cavalry punches. They then lock on a guillotine and knock Brian out for the win.

Like Brian had no opportunity, nor rule. He was inspired by Edge, who announced that he would face Raj at WrestleMania.

Daniel Bryan wins SmackDown Elimination Chamber

The main show opened with a SmackDown Elimination Chamber match. It included Saffron, Jay Uso, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Corbin and its eventual winner Daniel Bryan. Bryan started the match with Cesaro and, after about 50 excellent minutes, finished Jay Uso to win the match for the final.

After five minutes of solid wrestling between Brian and Cesaro, Corbin was third to enter the Chamber. She was a wrecking machine, took both down and dislocated Brian’s knee. Corbin would eventually be the first to leave the Chamber, but would be tapped by Cesaro’s sharpshooter.

Zion was in fourth place, Owens and finally Usso. A high position came when Zayn shortened the chamber, and was chased by Cisaro. Cesaro, holding himself with Link at the top of the Chamber, threw Zan onto the Chamber’s floor. It was his second chance to take out Zion, when Owens stumped and pinned him.

After Zayn is eliminated, Uso slams Owens’ arm into the chamber door and kills him with a superkick. Then they pinned him after the top rope splash.

After Usso was taken out by Kesaro, we had a great action between Cesaro and Brian. Just looking as if Kesaro was going to finish Bryan – between the single leg joint swing on Bryan’s injured leg – he was spotted by Uso with a superkick. Uso then pinned Kesaro with a top-rope splash.

This left Uso and Brian. Uso immediately hit Bryan for a two. He then scaled on top of a chamber pod and attempted a huge splash, but Bryan lifted his knees, then hit Uso with a running knee for the pin, winning his third Chamber match.

Good News? Bryan wins a shot against Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship. Bad news Roman Rains immediately comes out to start that match. No rest for Brian.

Rating: 4.5 stars Very good stuff. Bryan fans like myself are likely to be disappointed: It seems unlikely that their victory will do nothing, as the Rains now focus on their WrestleMania match with Edge. In fact, Bryan was presumably chosen to win the Chamber over Saffron so that he could lose in the reign. Despite this, it was an excellent bout.

Kickoff show results

John Morrison defeated Ricochet, Elias and Ali to secure a spot in the United States Championship in the triple-threat match on the main show. Bobby Lashley will now defend his American title against Morrison and Riddle.

Morrison won the match by rolling Ali while Ali was distracted from the outside by his retention faction Powerbombing Ricochet.
