Ever since the first trailer Wandavision Was released, leading fans to question the major tremors after several questions. While some questions are more or less resolved — such as Catherine Hahn actually playing Marvel Witch, Agatha Harkes, the mysterious bee foster who works for SWORD, etc. — some mysteries still require a proper answer. And the biggest is the bottle of wine that debuts in the trailer — is it a solid sign of Marvel’s reality-altering comics storyline House of mThe Well, Elizabeth Olsen finally aired her thoughts on wild theories revolving around this particular possibility.
So far, many trailers, teasers and a fresh clip from now on Wandavision Has established the base story of the series- Elizabeth Olsen And Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision will be seen as a married couple in a suburban society. They will live in an alternate reality — a classic television sitcom era-style life created by Wanda to deal with the fact that Vision is dead after the events Avengers: Infinity War.
Back in September 2020, the first trailer Wandavision Was released and it accumulated a treasure of Easter Eggs and references. One such blink-and-miss scene was when Wanda puts a bottle of wine on the table to fill the glass. In the brief scene, we see that there is a very prominent “M” on the neckband of the bottle, which also has a label with a French title “Maison du Moupris”, or “House of Contempt”.
When we are talking about Marvel, there is hardly any description without adequate meaning and as such this “House of Em,” by Brian Michael Bendis, is a clear eyelid for the comics storyline in 2005. In it, Wanda mentally breaks down the fabric of reality to recreate her lost twins, who are FYI, also featured in the trailer. Too many coincidences, don’t you think?
Well, Jimmy Kimmel thinks so too Wandavision Star Elizabeth appeared on her live virtual show, with the television host hurrying her to learn about the strike Easter Egg.
“This bottle of wine. It says Maison du Moupris. It is translated, ‘House of Misery’.” “Which may be to say that the series is based on M’s popular comic house, with Wanda breaking up.”
Unlike Tom Holland, who is infamous for spoilers about his films, Olsen brushed aside Kimmel’s investigative questions and instead credited “our pro-man Russell” with a bottle of wine that he was “a A very, very clever man would “put that in. ”
Call it wishful thinking, but Olsen’s well-known smile only serves to solidify that possibility. Wandavision Wanda is doing more harm than just shuffling in the decade she’s in House of m The comics series, Wanda, inspired a reality where mutants rule humans and they in turn are ruled by Magneto and his “M”. This distorted reality allows Wanda to reunite with her sons. But the chaos ends with Magneto’s brutally killing quicksilver prompting Wanda to pronounce the famous line- “No Mutants” and forge a brand-new reality where mutants number in the world by millions. Hardly comes down to a few hundred.
if Wandavision Follows House of m Story, we can expect Marvel Studios to work out their own unique version of events to fit into the MCU. So whoever is planning to watch the Disney + series hopes that some rogue sitcom should probably be ready for a crazy ride. You can check out the conversation between Kimmel and Olsen from here.
