Vandavision This week returned with its seventh episode and it brought with it some major revelations. We are fast approaching the finale and the table has been set. In addition to the insanity coming from the latest sitcom-inspired episodes of Wanda and Vision, a Marvel Cinematic Universe tradition returned, this time on the small screen. Namely, this episode had a post-credits scene, the first of the season. However, if we insist on it, it probably won’t be the last we see before running the show.
Warning: Failed For further Vandavision Episode 7. Read at your own risk. Episode titled Break the fourth wall, Where things started coming together in some ways. For one, we learned that Catherine Hahn’s Agnes has been behind this madness the whole time, as she is actually a powerful witch named Agatha Harkness. She also received a sitcom-style tune, which revealed that she “messed everything up,” and that “it’s been Agatha together.” This was revealed after Wanda decided to investigate Agnes’ basement in search of twins, Tommy and Billy. It did not go according to plan. Now we know who the real villain is. SWORD has mistakenly assumed that it was Wanda.
Meanwhile, the episode also revealed that Monica Rambue of Teyona Parris has changed her DNA considerably by entering the hex. In confronting Wanda, trying to get through her and end the madness, it is revealed that Monica has begun to develop her own powers. It seems, there will be an important thread to pull in the coming weeks.
Now, for the post-credits scene. Agatha’s evil laugh goes to the main credits. As the credits roll down, cuts to footage of Monica approaching Monica, or should we say Agatha’s basement. She opens the door, demonstrating her growing powers. She then sees glowing, purple roots crawling out of the cellar. As she investigates, Ivan Peters’s Pietro, aka QuickSilver, falls down next to Monica and says, “Snoopers are about to snoop.” Back for credit.
So, what does this mean for next week’s episode VandavisionThe The implication is that Monica and Pietro will investigate what is going on in the basement. Or, perhaps Pietro is working with Agatha, because something is off about him throughout this time. That is, it is a different quicksilver X Men Universe that was not previously part of MCU. In any event, the stage is definitely set for the epic conclusion.
We are probably at least in for some more surprises as well. For one, the identity of the aerospace engineer is yet to be revealed. Are we going to meet Reed Richards? Is this going to happen to anyone else entirely? Also, we still have to see how the show is going to connect Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Which will once again feature Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlett Witch. Vandavision Returns next Friday with a new episode on the Disney + streaming app.
