Indian captain Virat Kohli never used his words to praise wife Anushka Sharma. On Friday, he was once again praising his actor wife for being his “pillar of strong power”.
During a conversation with former England cricketer Mark Nicholls on the ‘Not Just Cricket’ podcast, Virat shared how he and Anushka have interacted mentally well. They discuss how to deal with negativity which is an occupational hazard for two public figures.
“From a mental point of view, I have a lot of conversations with my wife. Anushka and I have such a wide-ranging conversation about the complexity of the mind and how it can drag you into negativity and what those things are that put things in perspective. “Kohli said.

Kohli feels that Anushka understands her situation as she herself has been on the receiving end of too much negativity.
Speaking to Nicholas, the batsman said, “He has been a pillar of strength for me in that regard. Because he himself is at a level where he has to deal with a lot of negativity. So she understands my position and I understand her position. “
Describing how he would have missed getting clarity in life if he had not had a zero actor as his wife, Kohli shared, “And to be able to be a soul mate you are feeling what you are thinking And what are you feeling, if I had not been in my life, I would not have had the clarity that I would have got that clarity.
Kohli also opened up about suffering from depression After failing with his bat during the tour of England in 2014. He felt “the loneliest man in the world” despite gaining the support of many.
