US considers boycott of Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022

The State Department told reporters on Tuesday that the US was considering a possible boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Winter games are scheduled to begin in February.

State Department spokesman Ned Price told reporters that a joint boycott with affiliated countries on the board “is something we definitely want to discuss,” according to CNBC.

“A coordinated approach will not only be in our interest, but also in the interests of our partners and partners,” Price said allegedly, while the Biden administration, which is Chinese military expansion and curbing human rights abuses, Has not taken any final decision.

Speaking in front of the press at the State Department briefing, Price insisted that Beijing’s games were still about a year away.
