Some of man’s greatest inventions include the wheel, the rabies vaccine, Netflix, the butter cutter, the toilet flusher, the microfiber cloth, and peanut butter. Revered in the United States, already a little less so in France, this delicacy can be eaten on its own or used in the composition of dishes that are as good as they are simple to make.
1. Le brownie
Life is too short to just eat brownies. Go for the peanut butter brownie! It’s like a classic brownie, with all the ingredients, including a maximum of chocolate, but with more peanut butter for a guaranteed Snicker effect!
2. Banana and peanut butter croque-monsieur
Nothing easier ! Simply spread two slices of sandwich bread or brioche with peanut butter and then arrange banana slices. Then close the sandwich after sprinkling the inside with a little brown sugar and put the whole thing in a sandwich maker for about 5 minutes.
3. The Peanut Butter Cookie
It’s even better with chocolate! An interesting technique consists of placing a dab of peanut butter in the center of the cookie dough before baking it.
4. Mafé Peanut Butter Chicken
Because peanut butter isn’t just for snacks or desserts, chicken mafé is a perfect alternative. The butter brings a real plus to this essential sweet and savory recipe.
5. The cake bowl
Pour oat flakes into a bowl and add milk, egg, peanut butter, algave syrup and yeast. Cook for about 3 minutes in the microwave and let cool before eating. You can even enhance the recipe with crumbled M&M’s, fruit or chocolate chips.
6. Le banana bread
This variant of banana bread therefore aims to incorporate peanut butter and chocolate into the original recipe. A very simple recipe that consists of sifting flour, baking soda and baking powder into a bowl, before mashing bananas. Then add the eggs, sugar, milk and the famous peanut butter. We do not forget the chocolate chips and we mix until obtaining a homogeneous paste which we put in the oven at 170 degrees for 50 minutes.
7. Satay sauce
As good as it is easy! At work: peel some ginger and pour coconut milk into a saucepan, along with the ginger, chilli paste and peanut butter. Bring the mixture to a boil and add chopped coriander. Here it is finished. It’s delicious with chicken!
8. Peanut Butter Shake
A good milkshake, there is nothing better. Especially with peanut butter. 5 short minutes are enough to have fun. So we put the peanut butter with chocolate syrup and about 6 cl of milk in a blender before blending until you get a smooth mixture. Then add milk, vanilla ice cream and mix again for good measure. If you really like chocolate, you can sprinkle with chocolate powder.
9. Peanut Butter Popcorn
First, heat some oil in a sauté pan and add the corn kernels before gently letting them pop. In a saucepan, pour peanut butter and add a little honey. Heat over low heat and pour the mixture over the popcorn to coat them well. You can enjoy warm or cold.
10. The “old fashioned” recipe
This is by far the most complicated recipe of this top. Be careful, you have to follow: open a jar of peanut butter and take a big spoon. The biggest in the drawer. Be careful that it goes into the pot anyway, otherwise it will screw everything up. Take a huge spoonful and pop it in your mouth. Repeat the operation until the stock runs out.
