From the macabre to the magical, from the gothic to the grotesque or classically spooky, These eight equally sophisticated and frightening stories (including two original works by del Toro) will be brought to life by a team of writers and directors personally selected by del Toro.”

Panos Cosmatos, Jennifer Kent, and Vincenzo Natalie serve as writers and directors for the show’s single episodes. Other directors attached for various episodes include David Pryor (empty man), Guillermo Navarro (godfather of harlem), Keith Thomas (fire starter), Catherine Hardwicke (dusk), and Anna Lily Amirpour.
