The New Faces of Pride: Hailie Sahar on Pose, Advocacy and More

With the pride created by the protests provoked by Black trans women, what encouragement would you like to encourage fans and family alike to join this proud month?

Always keep in mind that throughout history every great cause has worked bravely to take us there. Be brave, be proud, and help heal this world with more love and support. Stand up and guide love with those who are doing so. In the end, it is all about freedom and no one is free until we are all free.

Could it be Qatar Media, be it books, music or film / TV, are you changing yourself for the year through uncertainty? Why?

I am constantly practicing to generate positive energy and increase the speed of myself and others. I do not feel uncertain. Instead, I hope so.

Can you remember the first time that you have seen yourself reflected in entertainment in a way that fills you with pride? If so, what was it? And if you are still waiting, what is it that you are expecting to see?
