The Muppet Show Currently streaming on Disney + with an offensive content disclaimer, warning viewers of potentially offensive content. Originally screened in 1976 and 1981, the Muppet-hosted variety show has long been a favorite for fans of all ages, although the series and its subsequent incarnations have always been particularly popular with children.
This week, The Muppet Show Made Disney + with all five seasons, but the classic schedule is now with disclaimer.

It is not specifically stated which visual disclaimers of the series are considered necessary, but the series depicts Native American, Middle Eastern and Asian characters. Disclaimer on the show is not a new practice on Disney +. The streamer previously placed disclaimers at the beginning of many classic animated films, warning viewers about “old cultural depictions”. Last month, Disney + went a step further by pulling many of these films from children’s profiles, such as Dumbo, Peter Pan, The lady and the tramp, And Forest book. The titles are still available for viewing on adult profiles with a disclaimer.
Meanwhile, some episodes are missing from the five-season lineup The Muppet Show On Disney +, but not for these reasons. Fans have noticed that two episodes of Season 5, featuring guest stars Brooke Shields and Chris Langham, are not available to watch. Another episode of Season 2 with Don Knotts has also been heavily edited. A representative of Disney + recently told EW that this was due to issues securing music rights, something that kept most of the series from being released on home video for years.
