Armor is an important part of The Mandalorian on Disney Plus. But in, Siege, no one has worn his armor – or any attire. In a fight scene, which appears to be a crew member wearing a T-shirt and jeans, he appears under the arm of Carl Wings, who is playing Grief Karga and who also directed the episode.
It seems silly to me at around 18:54 – after the guard shouts “Destroy it!” And then to see the far left side of the screen the gray T-shirt, what looks like a crew member in jeans and with a very visible dark clock on his wrist, flattens itself against the wall.
As Greef Karga, Cara Dune and Mando get closer in the shot, you’ll see a bit more of the crew member. The shot then cuts the guard back, and when it cuts back to the main characters, the crew member disappears.
In a boon for reporters writing about Gough, the quick scene showing the crew member is actually one of the promotional shots distributed by Disney Plus in that episode. Oops and thanks too.
A representative of Disney Plus did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
People were obviously quick to compare this non-infamous Game of Thrones scene, where a seemingly(Emilia Clarke). But Entertainment Weekly points out that it is actually similar to a scene in the 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark, which also features a casually dressed crew member in one scene.
