As it turns out, it is not as hard to replicate the signature look of the brand.
Previously there was a #QuarantinePillowChallenge, and now social media users are making videos with hilarious – and results – for the Gucci Model Challenge on TikTok.
Was initiated by Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Star Lachlan Watson, whose original audio clip includes all. In the audio, Watson breaks down the key elements to become a Gucci model.
“First you need a random turtleneck, color it,” instructs Watson before you add some random shirt that doesn’t match it and then add a random vest. The instructions continue with Watson saying “layering is important” and that you should add a bright colored jacket, some vinyl pants and perhaps a miniskirt to the top. The final touch for the look includes a headscarf (“a Gucci staple as Watsey notes”), sunglasses, clear heels with stockings and bright pink lipstick. “And just like that, you’re a model for Gucci,” Watson finishes the audio.
The hashtag has received 8.2 million views so far – and we can’t help but wonder if creative director Alessandro Michel is among them.
