The Boys are back: Amazon Prime’s dysfunctional superheroes return
Creepy superheroes, and vigilantes fighting against them, are backOn Amazon Prime.
From September 4, the show returns with new adventures and a new female superhero from Seattle. Amazon posted a new sneak video on Friday featuring Stormfront, played by Aya Cash (You’re the Worst).
While she is filming a promotional video on location, she introduces herself to the superhero team known as The Sinfir. Of course, she is filming herself live on social media as she says hello to the confused superhero team.
“I think Stormfront is like an atomic bomb that goes off at seven,” Cash in Entertainment Weekly reported in March. “She wants to try to go back to the original idea behind making superheroes, and she can be quite a feminist. There are a lot of people, I wouldn’t say it wrong, but she is also a very strong woman.”
The video was shown on Friday during a virtual reunion with season 2 guest star hosted by The Boys executive and executive producer Eric Kripke.
In the new season, the crew fighting the superheroes – Hughie (Jack Quade), Mother Milk (Laz Alonso), Franchi (Tomar Capone) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) – adjust to life to hide with Butcher (Carl). Try urban) get nowhere.
Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must take his place in the superhero team, known as The Seven, as the Homelander (Antony Star) sets his sights on taking complete control of the group. Her power is threatened with Stormfront, a young social media savvy superhero who has her own agenda.
The Seven’s superheroes include Queen Meow (Dominic McLeagott), A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), The Deep (Chase Crawford) and Black Noir (Nathan Mitchell).
Amazon Prime Video also announced on Friday that Boys Season Two will premiere its first three episodes on September 4, with new episodes airing every Friday, until Season 9 concludes. 9. There are eight episodes in total.
