The Best Wear OS Watches for 2020

The best WearOS watch is the Skagen Falster 3. This is a smartly clever watch that looks luxurious and solid but maintains a reasonable price. And, thanks to the excellent internals, this is one of the easiest WeAROS watches we’ve reviewed. The Falster 3 looks good on a wide variety of wrists and outperforms direct competitors.

We have tested dozens of smartwatches, including several luxury models that specifically target watch enthusiasts. Our rigorous real-world testing gives us unmatched insights into the smartwatch market. When we think the Falster 3 is the best WareOS watch overall, we’ve selected a few other options if you don’t have these features.

Best of all: Skagen Falster 3

Andy Boxall /

The Skagen Falster 3 ($ 295) understands design with the best technology at WearOS, with balance perfectly at the moment, and our choice of models available today.

The 42mm body has a 1.2-inch OLED screen and three buttons on the side, which will look most attractive. The stainless steel Falster comes in gunmetal gray with a choice of 3 colored straps or a stealth all-black design if you choose the Falster 3x by Kyogo special edition.

It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 platform with 1GB of RAM, along with Google Pay, GPS, heart rate monitor, the ability to make and receive calls from your phone and NFC, the latest version of Google’s WareOS software. Performance is also good, and even with a workout session, the battery will last a day, plus it charges to complete in about an hour. Only the disappointment of WearOS disappoints, but they are at least on the otherwise excellent Skagen Falster 3.

If the design is too small for you, take a look at the Fossil Gen 5, which shares the same technology, but is slightly larger in the 44mm body.

Moto 360

Andy Boxall /

After a steep $ 299 price cut, the Moto 360 has become a more intriguing prospect. Made from thick stainless steel and with a choice of straps available in gold, steel, or black finish, this is a great looking smartwatch. The top button on the side of the case rotates to make navigating the WareOS easier, and at the back is a heart rate monitor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 Platform Moto 360 with 1GB of RAM.

We have added it to the list due to the classy design and manageable size, making it suitable for many people, as well as simple software that strictly clings to standard WareOS for relatively smooth performance. Battery life is also good, although you won’t take more than a full day.

Misfit vapor x

Not too big, not too flashy, and with the right balance between style and sportiness, the Misfit Vapor X ($ 279) is for those who find the minimal Skagen Falster 3 doesn’t fit with their lifestyle. Huh. The 1.2-inch screen, 42mm body, and simple design mean it’s suitable for most wrists, while the watch face and easy-to-swap strap allow for a lot of customization if you feel the need. Can give it some flash.

It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 platform with 512MB of RAM, making it slightly less powerful than the Falster 3, but it still offers a good proprietary experience and never feels frustrated. The watch has GPS and NFC, along with heart rate monitoring and a battery that lasts easily for a day. It also has water resistance up to 50 meters, so it is suitable for swimming, and has a Google Fit for fitness tracking, as well as the chance to install more fitness applications through Google Play.

Kate Spade Scallop 2

Andy Boxall /

Kate Hoe is known as a fashion-forward, tech-friendly company, and Kate Hoe Scallop 2 proves it. Scallop 2 features a fundamentally similar and classic design, but then pulls out more design aspects associated with the Kate Spade brand for a fresh look. It’s slim – which helps ensure that the watch looks stylish – and has all-new technology, including GPS and a heart rate sensor, new watch faces, and NFC for Google Pay.

We really like that clever watch face that can be set up to complement your organization’s color scheme. Do not remove the larger looking 42 mm body. The screen is just 1.2 inches, so the watch is very compact and wearable. There are various Ware OS smartwatches designed specifically for women, but this is our favorite so far. Don’t dismiss the original scallop if you see a great deal on it, either, as its sequel has most of the advantages.

Suto to

Suanto Marine Watch Face Andy Boxall / .com

Suunto is best known for its hardcore fitness watches, but earlier this year launched its first smartwatch using Google’s WearOS. The Suunto 7 embraces the brand’s sporty design and superb fitness tracking capability, while paired it with everyday usable software and excellent battery life. Yes indeed, excellent battery life. It lasted two days on a single charge in our review with regular regular usage.

Fans of the brand want more from it, and happily include Sunto’s own extensive training app, as well as a clever “summer” map showing local walking and running routes. There is also heart rate monitoring on the back and GPS, as well as common features including NFC. Battery improvements come from a close partnership with Qualcomm, and inside the watch are tweaked for the Snapdragon 3100 chipset.

It’s expensive for a ViROS watch at $ 500, but without Google’s software about what you’d pay for a top-flight GPS-based fitness tracking smartwatch.
