Best Electric Skateboard: Boosted Stealth

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: Boosted stealth adds comfort, performance and durability to the ultimate ride.
what’s that for: Avid skaters want to include a welcome electrical support in their daily piece.
How much will it cost? $ 1599
Why we chose Boosted Stealth:
For the best of many worlds, there is no better bet than the Boosted Stealth, a 17-pound longboard designed for effortless ride, comfort and control. It all starts with the Super Flex Composite Deck, an adaptive, concave platform designed for long runs comfortably in many areas. It seems strong and natural to go from a 25% grade parked on a flat city street full of passers-by. This is also thanks in part to Boosted’s latest drivetrain improvements, which feature rigid CNC trucks for larger push and pull when you need them.
Stealth has five different modes to choose from, including Boost’s new Hyper Mode to push the board to its 24mph maximum. Shifting between each speed class is quick and easy with the Bluetooth remote, and it lacks the feeling of “shifting” so to speak. Overall torque is tight and consistent, particularly in the high speed ranges, and overall acceleration / deceleration is top notch. The 85mm Stratus wheels are extremely sinister, a good safety consideration, but a minor obstacle for performance riders who want to pull tricks and weave through the crowd.
Boosted Stealth may not be the best board for e-skaters at first, but those who have been for a while will know they are in good hands when their feet hit the deck.
The best electric skateboard for travelers: Boosted Mini X

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: It is portable, portable and ideal for urban environments.
what’s that for: Anyone wants to use their board as a reliable and comfortable means of transportation.
How much will it cost? $ 999
Why we chose Boosted Mini X:
Boosted makes some of the best electric longboards in the biz, and the Mini is no exception. Despite the fact that it does not claim quite as much battery life as its older siblings, it makes up for that lack with a myriad of awesome features. our favorite? the deck. It has got this cute radial concave shape that gives you a comfortable yet responsive platform to stand on, and this time, Boosted also gave it a kicklet. This makes it much easier to whip the board around and perform snugly when necessary. The Mini’s deck is also significantly smaller than previous boosted boards, so it’s easy to pick up and take a bus, train, or whatever transport you like.
The board also comes with Boosted’s top-notch control system and therefore provides extremely smooth acceleration / deceleration when you ride. On cheap boards, acceleration and braking is either very fast and jarring or very mellow and sluggish, but boosted boards make an ideal balance. The Mini feels powerful yet under your feet, allowing you to believe that no matter your skill level. It is absolutely ideal for board passengers.
The best electric skateboard for electricity: Meepo AWD Pro

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: You will have a hard time finding a more powerful electric skateboard.
what’s that for: Speed enthusiasts, adventure-seekers and people living in mountainous areas.
How much will it cost? $ 799
Why we chose Maypo AWD Pro:
Electric skateboards now come in just about every shape, size and configuration, but the people of Mapo are making themselves the strongest they can be with four 540-watt motors. For those of you who score at home, this is one for each wheel – which is absolutely bonkers. With many motors, this board boasts the highest torque, power and speed of any electric board we’ve ever ridden. It tops 34mph, can accelerate from zero to 18.6mph in 2.5 seconds, and can climb hills with a grade of 35m.
The only downside? The board is slightly heavier, weighing 23 pounds. This extra weight also means that it is not as playful and smooth as a small board, but the Pro is a longboard, and has a large (boasts 40-inch wingspan) on it. Riders hoping for the compact ease of something like a boosted Mini X will not get that experience only with the offering of the Mapo.
Best Designed Electric Skateboard: Skatebolt Tornado II

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: The Tornado II has some of the best safety and performance features around.
what’s that for: First time e-boarders and experienced professionals who like to hang out after hours.
How much will it cost? $ 519
Why we chose Skatebolt Tornado II:
One of our favorite things about the Skatebolt Tornado II is that it is envious of the great safety features that come loaded with a board and with low cost. For starters, the deck is made up of eight layers of Northeast Maple, which supports rider weights of up to 280 pounds. The wider deck and larger wheel axles distribute the weight smoothly and evenly, making for a strong cruise at almost any speed.
The remote has a backlight LCD screen to check speed, battery life, and brake mode, along with buttons for changing the direction of the board and cruise control. We also like the two red LED taillights, a great safety feature for hovering near dark or in more crowded places where directional and hazard lights are prominent for drivers and pedestrians.
The Tornado II doesn’t skimp on performance, either. The board can do a top speed of 26mph and climb 25% grade. The only flaw we can think of is battery life. While the board can crank about 15 miles on a single charge, a handful of Tornado II owners have complained of a slight delay in fully charging the battery.
Best Budget Electric Skateboard: Acton Blink SR

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: The Blink SR is the best budget electric skateboard out there.
what’s that for: Those looking to test electric skateboard water without going all-in on high-end models.
How much will it cost? $ 399
Why we chose Blink SR:
While often skaters may prefer to invest in a premium electric skateboard, those who use their board frequently or mainly on weekends may want to start with the budget option. The Blink SR is far less expensive than many other models on our list, perfect for someone who is looking for a more comfortable way to get around the city. Weighing just 11 pounds, this board feels lighter than other entries on our list. The SR can hit a top speed of 15mph and take to the hills with a 15% grade, which is great for walking on most traditional walking routes and roads. Just don’t expect this little man to rip up any super steep hills. It is not oomph to do just that!
Battery life here is very strong. The board can go up to about 7 miles on a full charge and re-juice takes just over an hour. For those who want to try their hand at e-boarding and those who don’t want to leave the dough on a more expensive option, Blink is one of the best models to start riding with the SR. Skating vests and performance boarders will probably be happier with some of the more powerful ones, though.
Best All-Terrain Electric Skateboard: Obboard Carbon AT

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: Your skate sessions can be found anywhere you go, from uneven sidewalks to off-roading through your local park.
who is it for: Skaters who take their chances with less skater-friendly surfaces.
How much will it cost? $ 1,069
Why We Choose Our Own Carbon:
This monster of an e-board is designed for skating, which you can throw at it – in terms of terrain. Out of the box, you’re looking at 6-inch, all-rubber honeycomb tires, tough wheels that will push any small grass, dirt, or gravel into your path. Even for those dipping into the hilly terrain, you can custom the board with a 7-inch cloudwheel for better grip and performance.
The 40-inch, carbon fiber deck is designed to take just as much of a beating as the tires while providing a stable and comfortable ride top. The Carbon AT can handle 220-pound loads and is capable of hitting high speeds of 30mph, with grades climbing up to 30%. There are also three different speed modes to choose from, with a maximum skating range of around 20 miles.
Power-wise, the board packs some heavy gear, including a 1500-watt dual-belt driven motor and a rechargeable 14AH Sanyo battery pack. The components don’t really shrink the board, but we wish the battery – which charges in four to five hours – would charge a bit faster. If you plan to make all-terrain riding a day, we recommend charging the battery overnight.
The best electric skateboard for children and teenagers: Swagatron Swagset NG3

Why you should buy this electric skateboard: You want a safe and reliable board for your exciting prone.
who is it for: Children, teenagers and boarders are still learning the ropes.
How much will it cost? $ 99
Why we chose Swagatron Swagset NG3:
Kids and electric skateboarding seem like a recipe for disaster, which was in the minds of the people of Swagatron when they built the Swagkten NG3. At just 8 pounds and just under 20 inches, the board is lightweight and small enough to carry almost anywhere. On top of that, the 9-inch polypropylene deck is well-balanced and durable.
One of our favorite features is the kick-to-cruise function. Once the boarder gets up to speed, the board’s cruise remains in control, which can hold speeds up to 9.3 mph. When you are riding, the onboard sensor of the board will detect your weight and balance shift, bringing the NG3 to a solid halt. Battery life is not too shabby. A full charge will get you for around 7 miles of ride time, and the pack will fully charge a little over an hour.
NG3 does not feature the remote or high-end features of some of the other boards on our list, but for parents looking for peace of mind when their child steps on the e-board, there is no one better than this bad boy Not a condition.
