Celebrity Big Brother star Jackie Stallone, the mother of Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone, has passed away at the age of 98.
Sylvester’s younger brother, musician Frank Stallone, shared the news of his mother’s demise on Instagram on Monday in a lengthy tribute post.
“This morning my brother and I lost our mother Jackie Stallone. She was the mother of four children, Tommy, Sylvester, Frankie and my late sister Tony Ann. She was a remarkable woman who went out of daily work and was fearless. She died in her sleep as she wished. It was hard not to like him, he was a very eccentric and flamboyant person, ”Frank wrote with a series of photographs of Jackie.
“My brother Sylvester took care of her like a queen all her life. I will never be able to call my mother again nor will I shout at her because of my marriage. But we all loved her and her love to survive and prevail. I always miss you mother, ”he said.
Born on November 29, 1921 as Jacqueline Frances LaboFish, Jackie ran away from her home in Washington DC to join the circus and worked there for two years before working as a chorus girl on Broadway.
