Stephen King’s The Talisman Series Is Happening at Netflix with Steven Spielberg

After several decades, Steven Spielberg is finally getting his Stephen King choice to become a reality. The iconic filmmaker is teaming up with Netflix to bring in Kings Talisman on screen. However, it will be as a series and not as a film. Over the years the project was seen as a feature in its various iterations. But now, Spielberg is teaming up with the Duffer Brothers Strange things Fame, as a show to bring to life.

According to a new report, Steven Spellberg Will produce Talisman Series with Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer. Curtis Given, who previously worked on the Duffers Strange things, Is set to serve as both writer and listener on the project. There is no word yet on how soon it may end in production but it is in a very early stage. Darryl Frank and Justin Faleaway are also set to produce alongside Spielberg.

It is a long time coming. Steven Spielberg originally opted for the rights to the novel by Stephen King and Peter Straub in 1982, two years before it was officially published. But nothing came out of that.

Jack’s journey takes him into the realm, a parallel medieval universe where most people in his own universe are known as “twins”. The Queen of Territories, as it happens, Jack’s mother’s twin sister is also dying.
