Sewa Setu – Status Check Procedures Facilities

1. The applicant should start by logging in using their credentials, simply by clicking on the Login Tab.

2. Once logged into the system, the applicant should proceed by clicking on the Apply Online tab. From there, they can select the desired service and click on the apply button after reviewing the Requirements tab.

3. Next, the applicant will be redirected to the Transport site vahan.nic.in. Here, they will need to complete the application form for the chosen service and upload all the necessary supporting documents.

4. After successfully submitting the application, the applicant will receive an acknowledgement number from the vahan site.

5. To keep track of the application’s status, the applicant can use the acknowledgement number to access and monitor it on the ARTPS Portal.

1. A duplicate of a one-year-old Driving License for LMV-Non Transport, which is already held.

2. A certificate confirming completion of Class VIII.

3. Three copies of recent passport-sized photographs.

 

Stipulated Time Limit : 15 working days

Fees :

– Vehicle category fees of Rs. 30/- payable at the DTO cash counter.

– User charge of Rs. 30/- for Learner License Printout at the AMTRON cash counter.

– Service charge (via PFC/CSC) – Rs. 30

– Printing charge (for any PFC/CSC printing) – Rs. 10 per page

– Scanning charge (for PFC/CSC document scanning) – Rs. 5 per page

Learner License for Non-Transport

For first-time users, please follow these steps to complete your application:

 

1. Click on the “Register” tab located at the top right corner of this page to create your account. Provide your full name, mobile number, email address (optional), state, and password.

 

2. Once registered, use your credentials to log in by clicking on the “Login” tab.

 

3. After logging in, click on the “Apply Online” tab to select the desired service and proceed by clicking on the apply button. Make sure to review the requirements mentioned in the “Requirements” tab.

 

4. You will be redirected to the Transport site, vahan.nic.in, where you need to fill out the application form for the chosen service and upload the necessary supporting documents.

 

5. Upon successful submission, you will receive an acknowledgement number from the vahan site.

 

6. To track the status of your application, use the acknowledgement number on the ARTPS Portal.

Additional Simplified Procedure

Apply for a Transport Learner’s License (LL) in Assam through the Sewa Setu portal.

Here are the steps on how to do it:
** Go to the Sewa Setu portal https://sewasetu.assam.gov.in/
** Click on the “Apply Online” tab.
** Select the service you want to apply for, in this case, “Learner License for Transport Vehicles”.
** Fill out the application form.
** Enter your name, email address, and mobile number.
** Select the type of vehicle you want to drive.
** Upload a copy of your Aadhaar card or other government-issued ID card.
** Upload a copy of your recent passport size photograph.
** Upload a copy of your birth certificate.
** Pay the application fee.
** Submit your application.
** The application fee for a Transport Learner’s License in Assam is INR 300.

Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the concerned authority and a decision will be made within 30 days. If your application is approved, you will be issued a Transport Learner’s License that you can print out and carry with you.
