Perfect for 21st century gadgets – I don’t like vacuuming the floor by hand, or at least only need to vacuum once in a great while. Conversely, I tested a robot mop some time ago but I hated it. Who has room for two competing floor bots? The Robrock S6 MaxV solves that problem by mixing the two: it’s a hybrid vacuum and mop, and usually sells for $ 750. But now you can get When you apply the unique promo code MAXV4CNET At checkout.
Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed that the other day I wrote about a deal(They are still running, incidentally), but the S6 MaxV was not among them, and I really like this model so you can tell about the deal separately.
I had the Roberock S6 Maxvi in my house for a while, and I would call it the best robotic vacuum I’ve ever used. The robot itself is more likely to hang, get stuck, get stuck or be weaker than most other robots, I have tried in large part because its cameras identify common obstacles and constantly avoid them. For example, a competitive robot that I was testing at around the same time managed to get out from under the fridge door on a regular basis and was given a special floor lamp to clean to the extent that it would bar – Stuck on the base bar. S6 MaxV, though? Almost supernaturally good at avoiding those kinds of traps.
In addition, S6 MaxV lets you mark your home map in the mobile app. I divided my location into separate rooms, allowing me to call the robot to a specific location for cleaning. It also allows for a no-go zone, so I set a berth around some obstacles, such as a plush bath mat that has proved to be too much for any robot. And you can set up a no-mop zone to keep carpets and carpets dry.
Talking about the MOP, it is a simple snap-on / snap-off water tank that has a moping pad. When the tank is attached, the robot mops. When it is removed, the robot is emptied. It is so easy.
CNET has not yet reviewed the Roborock S6 MaxV so there is no official rating, but I can assure you based on my personal experience that it is impressive. And our friends agreed on ZDNet, concluding, “For $ 749, this may be just the robot vacuum you will need to buy.”
If only it emptied itself as well, it would be my favorite thing. Right now priced at $ 600, I’d say it’s a great value. You can get a vacuum at this price from 13 January.
