Salman Khan’s father and veteran screen writer Salim Khan has reviewed some of his son’s films, including his recent Eid release Radhey: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which he says he did not like.
In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Salim Khan said, “Radhey is not a great film, but it is the responsibility of commercial cinema to make money for everyone. Artists, producers, distributors, exhibitors and every stakeholder should get the money. “The cinema buyer should get the money. This continues the process of cinema making and business. Based on this, Salman has performed. The stakeholders of this film are in profit. Otherwise Radhe is not such a good film.”
However, Salim Khan also spoke on Salman’s previous films. “The film before this Dabangg 3 was different. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was good and totally different, ”he said in the same interview.
Radhey Hooda, Disha Patni, Jackie Shroff also acted in Radhe, Sangay Tsheltrim, Gautam Gulati and others. The film had a simultaneous hybrid release in theaters and ZEE5’s pay per view service ZEEPlex.
The film received mostly negative reviews, and even went on to become Salman Khan’s lowest-rated film on IMDb.
A statement by Salman’s legal team, DSK Legal, clarified on Thursday that the superstars are suing Kamal R Khan Aka KRK for defamation claims in the Radhey Review. KRK said that he would not review any of Salman’s films here.
