Salman Khan will return as the host of Bigg Boss 14, which is set to premiere on 3 October. He gave information about the upcoming season and interacted with the show’s team at a virtual press launch. Also, for the first time, a competitor, Jan Kumar Sanu, Was revealed before the premiere. The Bollywood superstar also discussed the lockdown, and how the show will be for the year.

While interacting with Endemol CEO Abhishek Rege, Salman Khan revealed his reasons for his resume to work with Bigg Boss 14. Expressing concern after such a long lockdam, the actor shared that he felt he needed to start working so that others could earn as well.

“The biggest reason I am doing Big Boss is that I wanted people to start earning again. Many died of COVID and also starvation. Bigg Boss has a large unit and employs many people.

Salman Khan went to gripe Abhishek Rege about what measures he had taken for the benefit of the employees. Reggae shared that to avoid any loss of jobs, they would be working with the entire crew but in crosses. He also said that everyone would be taking his full salary, and could also get it during the last few months.

Salman also made fun of his payment. He then smiled and said, “If I am paying in full, I will be more than happy with the fee cut.”

At the press launch, the makers hinted to be very different from the previous ones. Facilities such as theaters, restaurants, spas and malls will give contestants and spectators a chance to experience pre-lockdown luxury. Salman Khan commented that Bigg Boss 14 is going to be a dream come true for the contestants.
