Tamil film audiences are also familiar with Roshan Andreeves, a remake of the 36 Vayadhanile, Malayalam film How Old R R. The film, which was about a 36-year-old woman’s struggle for survival, marked the return of Jyothika after a gap of eight years.
The Mumbai Police revolves around an investigation into the murder by an officer who suffers partial memory loss after an accident. The film received widespread acclaim and was a box office hit upon release in 2013.
Meanwhile, Roshan Andreeves is busy with his next project, Selute. It is a police thriller with Dulare Salman in the lead role. Screenwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay has written the film, with Diana Penty, Manoj K. Jayan and Saniya Ayyappan are also there.
