Raya and the Last Dragon Sneak Peek Goes Inside the Making of a New Disney Classic

Disney has released a new feature, which gives a behind-the-scenes look. Raya and the Last Dragon. Titled “Crafting Raya”, it offers a glimpse of what it took to bring the film to life. Walt Disney Animation Studio’s latest is set to debut in theaters and on Disney + via Premier Access in March.

The video provides a new look at the upcoming epic fantasy-adventure. It features Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) And Aquafina (8 of the ocean), As well as filmmakers. The film was significant, as Tran became the first actor of Southeast Asian descent to lead a Disney animated film. In addition to presenting some details on the film, the featurette contains a good deal of footage, which gives a strong sense of the world that this story is designed to tell.

Raya and the Last Dragon Takes place in the fictional world of Kumaranda. It focuses on Raya, a lone warrior who tracks down the legendary Last Dragon. He must try to stop an evil force that has returned after 500 years and may threaten his homeowner once again.

The cast includes Izak Wang, Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Benedict Wong, Joanna Xiao, Sandra Oh, Thalia Tran, Lucille Soong, Alan Tudyk, Gordon Ip, Ditchen Lachman, Patti Harrison, John “Dumphbound” Park, Sung Kang. Sierra Cato, Ross Butler, François Chow and Paul Yen. Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, Paul Briggs and John Ripa are co-directing. Osnut Schurer and Peter del Veccho are on board as producers. Qi Nguyen and Adele Lim wrote the screenplay.
