Sony Interactive Entertainment said in a blog post on Monday that PlayStation is partnering with a voice chat service to help gamers connect. Early next year, Discord will integrate with the players’ social experience on PlayStation, allowing friends, groups and communities to communicate more easily as they play together.

According to posts from the video game console giant, Discord is used by more than 140 million people every month worldwide, and was made popular by gamers.

As part of the partnership, Sony Interactive Entertainment made a minority investment as part of the Discord’s Series H funding round. Then the news comes Negotiations for a Microsoft takeover of Discord It reportedly ended last month.
