PlayStation 5 Expected to Outperform Xbox Series X in Sales

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are set to go face-to-face in this year’s holiday season, but a research firm has predicted the winner of the next generation of console wars.

DFC Intelligence outsourced the PlayStation 5 to the Xbox Series X by a 2-to-1 margin and predicted that Sony’s next-generation console would eventually break through the 100 million-unit milestone sold.

“Microsoft is doing its best with the Xbox Series X, but it has been revealed in the last few months that they are far behind Sony. The consumer brand’s preference is strongly towards PlayStation. There is nothing the Xbox Series X is doing to change that perception as a piece of hardware, ”DFC Intelligence wrote.

Other factors cited by the research firm contributing to its prediction include a lack of presence in Japan and a weak presence in Europe for Xbox, Sony’s strength in its distribution of consumer electronics, and a scale-back to focus on short-term sales Ambitions are included. Instead of long term vision.

DFC Intelligence wrote, “However, Microsoft may have a long-term war plan,” as the company is working on a strategy that goes beyond its comfort.

PlayStation 5 vs Xbox Series X

Several factors related to the upcoming battle between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are unknown, including their price tags and supplies. Furthermore, it is unknown how the COVID-19 pandemic will affect the launch of the next generation of consoles.

Sony looks like it has appeared on the gaming community so far for PlayStation 5, but Microsoft may look longer with its emphasis on the Game Pass subscription service and the xCloud game streaming service.

Whether or not DFC Intelligence’s predictions are true remains to be seen, but it is known that fans of both consoles are already excited to jump to the next generation.
