Paddington 3 Is Happening at StudioCanal

StudioCanal has confirmed that they are currently developing Paddington 3. The first two installments were successful at the international box office, so the third film is not too surprising. With that being said, it has been a long time since we heard any official news about one of the world’s favorite bears. Franchise star Hugh Bonneville recently stated that the sequel had “Forward Momentum”, and that it was “somewhere on the horizon”, but he had no other information about it.

Variety was the first to announce Paddington 3 News. “We can confirm that Studio 3 is working with great care and caution in the film,” the studio said in a studio statement today. No story details have been revealed, but it has been confirmed that Paul King, who directed the first two installments, will not be behind the camera this time.
