OnePlus’ next phone will have two front cameras, report says
OnePlus’s new phone is coming. The company has already taken to Twitter and Instagram to tease its next device, posted by CEO Pete Lau on Tuesday. Now, we have some more details on the cameras in front of us, with a new report that the upcoming phone will have two selfie cameras.
According to Android Central, citing “Insider Source”, the next OnePlus phone will feature dual 32- and 8-megapixel cameras on the front, the first for a OnePlus device. The cameras will be located in a cutout in the upper-left corner with the wide-angle lens of the camera, the site note, the 32-megapixel camera main shooter and the 8-megapixel sensor.
The company’s current OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro each have a single, 16-megapixel front camera.
OnePlus declined to comment.
Expected to be introduced at the July 10 event, the new OnePlus is rumored to be called the OnePlus Z, OnePlus Lite or OnePlus Nord, with rumors about the company’s Instagram being the OnePlus LightweightingHing.
Apart from dual front cameras, rumors suggest that the phone will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and in-screen optical fingerprint sensor, support for 5G, either 6GB or 12GB. The RAM and three rear cameras were anchored by the 64-megapixel main shooter.
Pricing starts at $ 299, which is similar to the company’s first phone, the OnePlus One.
