Nokia, The 155-year-old iconic company that has manufactured a range of items from rubber to cable to phones and telecommunications equipment is set to expand into a new category.
Finnish firm on Monday launched Nokia PureBook X14 laptop with Walmart -Known Flipkart For the Indian market.
The Nokia PureBook X14, priced at INR 59,990 ($ 815), has a 14-inch full-HD display and is powered by Intel’s 10th generation quad-core i5 processor clocked at 4.2GHz turbo speed.
The laptop, which ships with Windows 10 Home pre-installed, sports a 512GB NVMe SSD and 8 GB DD4 RAM.
Other specs include: 86% screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree viewing angles, matte black finish, Dolby Atmos-powered speakers, face unlock with Windows Hello, Intel UHD 620 graphics with 1.1GHz turbo GPU, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type C port as well as a dedicated port for HDMI and Ethernet. The Noki Purebook X14, weighing about 1.1kg, will last up to 8 hours on a single charge.
Flipkart, which has grown its private label and brand ecosystem in recent years, is the design and manufacturing partner for the new laptop. Just as it is with Motorola, Flipkart has a licensing agreement with the Finnish firm, a representative from Flipkart told ClearTips.
The laptop will be sold exclusively through Flipkart in India, which is also the only market for this particular device.

We are excited to offer Nokia branded laptops to consumers in India, which brings innovation to address a gap in the market, as well as the style, performance and reliability the Nokia brand is known for. The Indian laptop market has attracted many new firms in recent years, including Xiaomi, which has launched several affordable laptops in the country this year.
