The game is a completely new adventure that follows the same on-rail structure as the original where players can throw Pokémon to deliver fruit to hide. A new trailer for the game shows some of the new Pokemon depicted in the game, including Tokenone, Magnum, and Wooper. Nintendo did not reveal how many Pokemon are available in the new game.
In the latest adventure, players take on the role of a budding photographer who helps Professor Mirror survey the new Letlin area. The story revolves around Illumina Phenomenon, giving Pokémon a glow. Players’ photos are evaluated based on several factors, including large Pokémon in frame, position, and posture.
The game costs $ 60 and will be available in both digital and physical forms. Pre-orders for the game already reside among retailers.
Pokémon is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and Nintendo hopes to meet several announcements for the occasion. It recently teased its anniversary plans with a video that revealed the company was collaborating with Katy Perry for a series of concerts.
