Neena Gupta readies for Panchayat 2, daughter Masaba has Masaba Masaba 2 on her mind

As the popular 2020 series Panchayat completes a year of release, Nina Gupta shared that she is preparing for the show’s second season of Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, her daughter Masaba Gupta kept the second season of the Netflix show Masaba Masaba on her mind, as she shared a picture of the script on her Instagram Stories. Neena and Masaba will return to the show which is based on their lives.

On Sunday, Neena Gupta shared a video on Instagram, in which she is seen celebrating one year of the release of the panchayat by cutting the cake. In the video, she is saying, “Happy Panchayat one year, Happy one year to us. Congratulations.” She shared the video with the caption, which read, “Prepare for next season #panchayatwebseries”.

In the panchayat, Neena Gupta played the role of Manju Devi, a village sarpanch and a housewife who wants to serve good food to her husband and marry her daughter. By the end of the series, she realized her duties as head of the village and a woman. He shared screen space with his Shubh Mangal Zyda Saudhan co-actors Jitendra Kumar, whom he tagged as “a great actor” and Raghubir Yadav.

Earlier in an interview with, Neena explained the reason for doing the panchayat. “I have a tendency to take roles that excite me and say something very important in a very organic and natural way. Therefore, I found the panchayat to be so. I like my role of Manju Devi and I like the whole concept (show) of it, ”the actor said.

On the work front, Neena will still share screen space with her daughter Masaba Gupta in the second season of Masaba Masaba. On Sunday Masaba shared a throwback photo of herself with mother Nina. The photo shows a child Masaba trying to chew on the young Nina’s finger. Sharing the cute picture on Instagram, Masaba wrote, “Still bright-eyed and eating whatever comes my way.”

Masaba Masaba Season 2 will show the ace-designer’s life and his equation with Nina. The Netflix project will soon begin streaming on the OTT platform.
