Actor Mohit Raina, who is recovering from Kovid-19, wrote an emotional yet inspiring post on Saturday evening. He dropped a picture of himself on Instagram and said how the month of April ended with a “heavy heart, warm smile, gratitude, memories, lessons, patience and resolve”.
Mohit wrote about losing “2 school friends, 2 college friends, 1 ex-co-worker in the automobile industry, 1 extended family member, and an immediate fatherly figure” and himself became infected with coronovirus. He thanked the frontline warriors at the hospital “round the clock for selfless work”. Later, he recounted a feeling he faced while facing his illness. The actor asked his fans “Why us?” Rather look at the brighter times that lie ahead of them.
“Personally a massacre, Bhuj earthquake 2001, some natural disasters, 26/11 and now COVID… have been seen. I have a feeling that I want to share with everyone who is looking at the ceiling or window of the room and wondering why we? To rise from its own ashes, a phoenix must first be ignited. We all have 86 billion neurons to fill the power within the N RISE. Uttar Pradesh my friend. There will be a tomorrow which will be your TODAY and at that moment you will prove yourself. Just hang (sic), ”Mohit wrote in the post.
Mohit tested positive for coronavirus last month. He shared the news with a post that read, “As I look outside and inside, I say a small prayer for everyone.” Father always said that prayer works in a magical way. I would request all of you to be safe and pray for humanity. After testing positive for COVID-19 last week I have been in the safe medical hands of doctors in the state where I have been based since last month. Every day I see a gamut of human emotions. We are fine among them. At least we can stay indoors. You will see people on the other side (sic). ”
Mohit Raina, who rose to fame with Devon Ke Dev – Mahadev, was last seen in the 2020 web-series A Viral Wedding and Bhagal.
