We are excited to announce another great panel for our stacked ClearTips Early Stage event on 1 and 2 April. Marlon Nichols will join us in the discussion to get seed funding.
Nicholas is intimately familiar with the subject – as a founding managing partner of MaC Venture Capital (nee Cross Culture Ventures), he has been involved in helping over 100 early-stage startups obtain seed funding. Prior to this, Nichols served as a Kaufman Fellow and Director of Investment at Intel Capital, focusing on media and entertainment.
He has had a hand in a number of high-profile investments, including Gimlet Media, MongBD, Thrive Market, Plaves, Fair, LISNR, Maven, Blighty and Wonderschool. His accolades include MVMT 50 SXSW 2018 Innovator of the Year and Digital Diversity’s Innovation and Inclusion Transformation Award.
He will discuss ways for investors to get on the radar and to increase that initial phase. Details per panel:
Right now, more seed-stage fundraising is taking place than ever before, and Marlon will speak on how to focus on investors, how to grow his business and how to survive in a crowded, competitive space of tech startups. He will provide insight on how to network, create a great pitch and target the best investors for your success.
The panel is part of two days of events that explore seed and series A fundraising, recruiting and more for early-stage startups in the series – operations and fundraising on April 1 and 2. Price hikes next week Grab your ticket before!
