Malayalam actor KV Shanthi passes away

Popular Malayalam actor KV Shanti died in Chennai on Monday. She was 81 years old.
Shanti entered show business in the 1950s and remained a popular choice among filmmakers in the 60s and 70s. He played a supporting role in his 1953 film Padatha Penkili. He then acted in more than 100 films in Malayalam, Tamil. Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. However, he regularly collaborated with Maryland Studios, which controlled his first film.
KV Shanti is survived by his son.
