It’s unclear when the X-Men will make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Disney + shows move things in that direction. This happened in a recent episode Falcon and Winter Soldier. Not only does Sam and Bucky, along with an unlikely collaborator, pay a visit to a major mutant-centric location from the Marvel Comics universe, but there were several other X-Men Easter eggs during their short journey.

Warning: This post contains Failed For Falcon and Winter Soldier Episode 3 out of here. proceed with caution. In this episode, Sam and Bucky appear to be partnering with Zemo. He has formed an uneasy alliance with the villain to find out the truth behind this new Super Soldier serum. In search of leads, the journey leads them to Madripur, an island nation that may be well acquainted with those who have kept up with X Men Comics for years. Bucky describes it as an old “pirate sanctuary” at one point.

In the pages of Marvel Comics, Madripur is a fictional island located in Southeast Asia that has appeared in series such as New mutants, Wolverine, Hawkeye, Punish War ZoneX-Men Blue. The location was introduced in 1985 by noted X-Men writer Chris Claremont and artist Steve Leoloha New mutants # 32 Although it is a fixture of the Marvel universe in general, it is often associated with mutants. During the filming, photographs from the previous set indicated that Madripur could be a factor in the show’s story. He also hinted at the possible inclusion of a villain named Ogun. No luck on that front. at least not yet.

Additionally, a trailer for the show indicated that the couple was ready to travel to Madripur. In any event, it is a Chief Tip of the cap to mutants in the MCU. What’s more, during their visit to this city, they pass through a watering hole called the Princess Bar. As it still happens, a character by the name of the patch prevents installation in the comics. Patch is Wolverine’s alter ego when he is visiting Madripur. So, this could be a link to Wolverine, en route to a roundabout.

Finally, a character named Cesby, who owns an establishment called Brass Monkey, appeared in the episode. He imparts some intelligence to the gang and is quickly killed. Or so it seems. One way of deaths in the MCU is not to cling. In any event, a character by the same name was a mutant in the comics who was a part of the Mutant Liberation Front. Therefore it can also be seen as a link to X-Men in mutants and MCUs.

This is coupled with the inclusion of Evan Peters as QuickSilver Vandavision A case is under construction for X Men Sooner than coming to the MCU. We are aware that a reboot is coming at some point in the line. It is only a matter of when, if not. Meanwhile, it seems that the people of Marvel Studios will continue to lay a net of breadcrumbs. Falcon and Winter Soldier Episode 3 is now available on the Disney + streaming app.
