Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday reacted sharply to the “Thali” comments of veteran actor and MP Jaya Bachchan in Parliament, claiming that they found nothing on the matter.
On Tuesday, Bachchan said in the Rajya Sabha through a zero-time mention that the entertainment industry is being filled by social media and has asked the government to protect and support it.
“People earning a name in this industry have called it a drain. I completely disagree … I was really embarrassed and ashamed that yesterday (14 September) one of our members in the Lok Sabha, who is from the industry, spoke. I’m not taking names. It is a shame, “Bachchan reportedly made explicit reference to the statements of Lok Sabha MP Ravi Kishan and Ranaut on the Bollywood drug cartel.
“Jesus has slices in the bag, he is pierced. Gallat hai, ”he referred to a popular Hindi proverb that translates to cutting off the hand that feeds you.

Ranaut, who was in the news for his inflammatory remarks, slapped Bachchan on Tuesday and attacked him on Wednesday.
“Which plate of Jaya ji are you referring to?” A thali (thali) was given, featuring a two-minute role, item number and a romantic scene and that too only after sleeping with the protagonist.
“I taught feminism to the film industry, decorated ‘Thali’ with patriotic films. This is my own plate Jaya ji, it is not yours,” she wrote in Hindi on Twitter.
Which Diya has told Jaya ji and his industry? A plate was found which had two minute roll item numbers and a romantic scene. After sleeping with Harrow, I taught the industry the fame, the plate was decorated with Desh Bhakti Naripradhan films, this is my own plate Jaya ji nahi hai . . https://t.co/lPo9X4hRZX

“Keep the filth of your mind limited to yourself. If you want to abuse me, please go ahead … I will gladly listen to your bullshit and fight this wrestling with you. Respect for elders is the first lesson taught in Indian culture and you are a self-styled nationalist. Bhaskar said.
Sick Kangana. Shameful comment! Stop. The dirt of your mind is limited to yourself, if you want to abuse me, let me .. I will gladly listen to your nonsense and fight this mud wrestling with you. There is nothing feminist about the abused generations of women who have cleared the way so that we can enjoy the opportunities that we do. It is not right to be abusive towards women like Indira Jaising and Jaya Bachchan. it’s embarrassing. #just saying

Filmmaker Alankrita Srivastava also called Ranaut for his tweet.
“Nothing has been said about abusing some generations of women so that we can enjoy the opportunities that we do.” It is not right to be abusive towards women like Indira Jaising and Jaya Bachchan. it’s embarrassing. #JustSaying, ”she tweeted. Bachchan was praised by many of his colleagues in Bollywood for raising voice in the House against those who malign the Hindi film industry.
