Joe Bob’s Haunted Drive-In Haunt & Horror Film Fest Comes to Southern California in October
Just in time for the Halloween season, great horror host Joe Bob Briggs And Los Angeles-based Black Vortex Cinema today announced their partnership Joe Bob’s Haunted Drive-In, A brand new, one-of-a-kind, conscious experience of COVID / short horror film festival is now being curated, and is coming to drive-in to Southern California this October.
“During these troubled times, we’ve forced many of our favorite seasonal Halloween events to close, so we provide a safe, exciting and scary new way to celebrate our favorite season from the comfort of our cars Wanted, ”said Christian Ackerman, founder of Black Vortex Cinema. “And we couldn’t be more happy to join forces with Joe Bob on this one. His wicked humor is the perfect imbalance to scare the living alive on screen that are being fulfilled!”
Horror icon Joe Bob Briggs, who will serve as the pre-recorded Master of Ceremonies, “I’m excited to bring the best short horror movies presented for the drive-in, but I don’t take responsibility for any zombie attacks” Bob’s Haunted Drive-In, “The Last Drive-In Cydic Darcy with the Mail Girl and the Screaming Queen and Actress Felissa Rose.
Ready to take place over several nights, a unique event will blend the sadness of watching a drive-in freight film festival with a lively, interactive hangout: as you and your friends watch Bob, Darcy, and Felissa onscreen. Joe Bob’s Haunted Drive-In Film festivities from the safety of your own car will be drive-by-over by meat-starved ghouls from a Halloween party, eager to terrorize you!
