Over time, it is not uncommon to build a large library of music and media on your Mac. If you want to share that content with other people, for example, your family members can listen to your music library, then it’s a fairly simple process on Apple’s devices.
You can do this through Apple’s Home Sharing feature, or by sharing a playlist you’ve created in Apple Music. In this article, we will outline both methods for you so that you can get started directly.

Set home sharing
Apple devices have a feature, called Home Sharing, designed to let you share, stream, and import various media files from five devices – such as those on a Mac, PC, iOS, or Apple TV device. – Those connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Phase 1: Ensure that any device you want to share with is signed in using the same Apple ID and is authorized to play purchased items on that Apple ID.

Phase 2: Open the Music app and sign in with your Apple ID (if you haven’t already).

Share an Apple Music Playlist
This is also straightforward if you share only one Apple Music playlist instead of your entire library.
However, note that you and the person you want to share the playlist with must have an active Apple Music subscription.
Phase 1: On iOS or iPadOS, search for a playlist you want to share, tap Three dots icon Under its name, then tap share. You’ll find a wide variety of sharing options including AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Facebook and more.
