Horror Movie Slashers Get the Scary Stories Treatment in Artist Drawings

For many, the book series Horror stories to tell in the darkWritten by Alvin Schwartz and Stephen Gammell, next to RL Stein, every school library was a staple for the trip. GoosebumpsChain. It was recently highlighted in the 2019 film of the same name. Guillermo del Toro co-produced and came up with the story and this is evident in some of the demonic figures who appear. The film, directed by Andre al Vredal, was met with mixed reviews but it has recently been announced that a sequel is in the works. Something tells me that we have yet to see the full extent of Hemel and Schwartz’s work.

A long-dormant childhood memory has been given new life by an online artist once again known by the handle @WatchfulEyeArt on Twitter. The artist is extremely mysterious, citing a location in ‘Politzenia’ that no longer exists, which creates an even greater online presence for itself. With 11 and one and a half thousand followers it seems that Twittersphere can’t wait to see what this artist will do next.
