In recent weeks, Disney Cruise Line and other American cruise operators have been slowly moving toward a domestic return to sailing. Disney Cruise Line has completed one test cruise on the Disney Dream and has added more simulated voyages on the Dream, the Disney Fantasy, and the Disney Wonder.
Many Disney Cruise fans in the U.S. are excited to plan a trip of a lifetime but are wondering what exactly is still going to be available onboard due to the CDC’s Conditional Sailing Order and necessary pandemic-era protocols.
The official Disney Cruise Line website provides vacation magic with add-ons, including Adventures by Disney experiences and Adventures by Disney Escapes.
At the time of publication, Disney Cruise Line has canceled Adventure by Disney vacations for the time being but still allows you to extend your trip before or after your cruise with Adventures by Disney Escapes. Let’s take a look at some amazing offerings — and, how you can add magic to your Disney cruise soon!

Disney Cruise Line Travel Information
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently approved our application to conduct a simulation cruise aboard the Disney Dream on June 29. This is an important next step toward our gradual and responsible resumption of service in U.S. waters.
While we continue to work closely with the CDC to refine our new health and safety protocols, it will take some time to bring our Crew back on board and prepare our ships to welcome Guests once again.
Additional details note:
Therefore, it is necessary for us to cancel Disney Dream departures through August 6, 2021, Disney Fantasy departures through August 28, 2021, Disney Wonder departures through September 19, 2021, and Disney Magic departures in the US through November 4, 2021.
As Disney has stated, an official return to sailing date in the United States has not been determined, though CEO Bob Chapek is optimistic about a fall 2021 return. However, “Magic at Sea” staycation cruises for U.K. residents are currently ongoing on the Disney Magic cruise ship.
The newest Disney Cruise Line Ship called Disney Wish is scheduled to set sail on its maiden voyage next summer, 2022. Furthermore, the Disney Wish will have all new Dining experiences and never before seen Character interactions, as Disney is currently searching for Character performers and Ship Wide Actors, and here’s where you can apply!
