When Sean McInerney, aka the Poopies, got involved donkey Crew, his first stunt for a major TV show was participating during Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. As part of the ‘Jumping the Shark’ Fonzie stunt for Discovery’s summer series, the new member didn’t land right, and he soon found himself in shark-infested waters. The shark circled, and one attacked. Sean McInerney emotionally describes his ordeal and his real feeling that he was about to die. (Obviously a caveat for graphic content).
“It’s a reminder that yeah, like, we’re going to push this too hard. And it certainly can happen,” jacks forever said star Chris Pontius, watching from the boat. “It’s either, like, everything is fine or it happens. And hopefully it’s always all right, everything is fine. But then… you know, this time it’s not okay.”
In an interview taped after his injury, Poopies, nursing his healing arm, says, “I knew there was a chance I would be bitten by a shark, but I didn’t think that was going to happen.” was.” When a producer asked offscreen if he was mad at the shark, he replied, “No, I don’t blame the shark at all. I mean, I was in their living room, and it was dinner time. was.”
“There’s, like, 10 sharks all around me,” Popeyes recalls of his Shark Week stunt, which started off choking, “I tried to swim, and I couldn’t.” Finally succumbing to tears, he says, “I couldn’t swim, man, and I knew I got bitten. Poppies also says that he, “I really couldn’t say much, I was in shock,” and knowing that he was in trouble when he was pulled out of the water and tried to raise his hand, But it just fell through, thinking it was all over for him. “But luckily I (died) didn’t,” he says, adding that he had an unreliable security team that jumped into action. “He sacrificed so much of his life for my life.”
“I don’t think there was ever a scary moment when we were filming,” says Steve-O in the video. “And as heavy as it was, so immediately, I just thought, ‘This footage has to come out. Poppies need glory.'”
