Get the Roborock S5 robot vacuum and mop for just $360

A few months ago I remodeled my basement, and the resulting layer of crude made it the perfect testing ground for the Robrock S5 – a robotic vacuum that can also mop. It did a great job overall, which is why I’m excited to share the deal: for a limited time, and while supplies last, Amazon supplied Roborock S5 2000Pa All-Floor Vacuum for $ 360 With promo code ROBOROCKS5. This corresponds to the lowest price we have seen for this vacuum.

I have early-generation Rhombus and late-model Ecovacs, but the S5 is my favorite robot sweeper to date. This is largely because it is smarter and efficient than others.

For example, the companion app gives you lots of cleaning options. You can set virtual barrier, no-go zone, go-only zone, etc. All of this is possible thanks to the S5’s laser-mapping skills, which allow it to be cleaned in an orderly pattern rather than bumper randomly everywhere.

The S5 gives 2,000 pascals worth of suction (which is on the high side for Robo-Vex) and has a larger battery, which is good for about 2.5 hours of cleaning, according to Roborock. It comes at the cost of the dust bin, which is on the small side. Likewise, the water tank only allows you to mop for 30 minutes before settling. (Thankfully there was ample time to clean my basement, which is about 800 sq ft.)

CNET has not reviewed the S5, so I’ll tell you about Matthew Miller’s review on ZDNet. Verdict: “A great artist at a reasonable price given his power, efficiency and utility.” And it was based on a $ 464 Amazon price. (It’s currently $ 480, but over $ 600.) Speaking of Amazon, more than 3,500 customers collectively rated the 4.5 out of 5 Star Robot.

So, yes, you may not know the Robbrock brand, but in my estimation it is as good as some of the latest rumba – with a much lower price.
