Of fortnite Season 3 Week 5 Challenges are live, and for one of them you have to catch five fish in a place called Craggie Cliffs. How do you actually go about doing this? Not to worry – in this guide, we’ll show you how to spot craggy cliffs, how to catch a fishing pole, and most importantly – how to catch fish.

Find cliffy rocks

Of course, the hardest part of meeting this challenge is finding the craggy cliffs. This area is found in the top part of the map, north of Mania Farm. The craggy cliffs are heavily surrounded by water, so you should have no trouble getting the fish in place. You must catch a pole before you can do so. Fortunately, there are plenty of them nearby. As you skydive to your destination, we recommend positioning yourself to land on the roof of Cap Carp, just south of the stick building.
Fishing poles

When you land, head inside the cap carp, and you find barrels with fishing poles in them. You can also find pols at many other places in the craggy cliffs. Wherever you find one, grab a pole and equip it.
catching fish

Now it’s time to start catching some fish. To do this, pull whatever trigger to fire in your gun (R 2 For playstation 4, RT For Xbox One, and RZ For the Nintendo Switch), and you will water your line. We recommend standing on the roof of a nearby building. If you see a fish in the water, it is inserted in their direction for a greater chance of biting. When you have found something, you will feel your controller rumble, so use the trigger to restart it. Many times, the item you will get will not be fish at all, so keep it until you have caught five.
Watch out for the nearby sharks that will attack you and destroy any building you stand on. If you see someone coming towards you, it is best to find a new place, because they can stop your progress by trying to bite you. You can also accidentally lie on one. If you do, you can use the shark to take you around the entire area as a water ski. This is a comic feature (and you get XP for doing so), but it won’t help you catch fish.
This may sound obvious, but you only take credit for this challenge by fishing in craggy cliffs. If you go to another location, you can fish for the entire day (or until the storm receives you), but you have not progressed in this challenge.
Fishing bounty

After catching your fifth fish, you will complete the challenge and be rewarded with 35,000 XP – not bad for minimal effort. This will help you progress towards upgrading your Battle Pass and hopefully you will eventually cleanse some goodies.
