Shudder and Fangoria today announced presenters in 2021 Fangoria Chainsaw Award, Premieres, Sunday, April 18 at 8 pm ET / 5PM exclusively for Shudder, AMC Network’s horror, thriller and supernatural premium streaming service. This year’s ceremony will be filmed and socially hosted with pre and post shows. The ceremony will be exclusively on the “Shudder TV” feed – available only on Shudder TV and mobile apps and online at Shudder.com – for the first time broadcast simultaneously in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. The Chainsaw Awards have been broadcast globally. After the Shudder premiere, the ceremony will also be released via Fangoria’s online and social platforms.
Since 1992, the Chance Awards have honored top achievements in the horror genre, with past recipients including Jonathan Demay, Sam Raimi, Robert Eggers, Tony Collett and George Romero. The awards are produced by Tara Ansley, Abhi Goyal, Phil Nobel Jr. and produced by Armaan Aghian and Rebekah McKendy.
