The world of sports is mourning the loss of former NASCAR driver Eric McClure.
According to a statement from his family, McClure, who ran for the last time in 2016, died on Sunday, May 2, at the age of 42. In a tribute post, NASCAR also confirmed McCall’s death, Tweet, “We are saddened by the demise of former driver and owner Eric McClure. NASCAR expresses its deepest condolences to Eric’s family and friends.”
McClure’s fiancée, Kiara Brinegar Tibbs, Mourning his death in a heartfelt message on Facebook. “Eric, I will love you till my last breath …. Please wait for me till then,” she wrote on May 2, along with pictures of the couple. “I love you so much.”
Tibbs returned on social media on May 3 to share a video of Meckler. “How can he go …. I love him so much,” he wrote with heart-breaking emojis. “By the end of time I will love you Eric Wayne McLure.”
