The Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Drishyam 2 is set to go on floors in March. While actor Venkatesh Daggubati will return to play the lead role, it will be directed by Jethu Joseph, who also nominated the original Malayalam version.

The first part of the Telugu remake, released in 2014, was directed by Supriya. It also starred Meena and Nadia. The makers are yet to disclose the full details of the cast and crew of Drishium 2.
The Malayalam film Drisham 2 featured Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hasan, Esther Anil, Asha Sarath and Siddique etc. It was released on Amazon Prime Video on February 19, and has been receiving critical acclaim so far.
